At VR Escapism, you can immerse yourself in a variety of thrilling free-roaming virtual reality experiences where you can see and physically interact with everyone inside the virtual reality world, including: VR Escape Games: Just as in traditional escape rooms, our 9 themes of VR escape rooms require players to complete some objective within a time limit. In groups of up to 6, players walk around in the same physical space and collaborate to solve problems. VR Shooting Games: An epic multiplayer VR action FPS with seamless, co-operative gameplay at its core that pits up to four players against a vast, hostile VR world in a raging fight for the zombie apocalypse survival. VR Arena: 15 min each, “arcade style games” of which the players can choose from a variety of games like shooting games, cooking games and archery and interact with up to 6 players.

Our virtual reality games is designed for kids over 8 years old. However, due to the difficulty and the themes (horror), please contact our staff to ensure the theme is suitable for your kids.

Yes, all participants are required to sign a waiver (https://www.vr-escapism.ca/wavier)before using the VR Escapism facility. This ensures the safety and understanding of the experience for all guests. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete the waiver (https://www.vr-escapism.ca/wavier)process.

Our headset features slots to allow the average pair of eyewear to fit inside. The headset also features adjustment knobs to configure the focus for each eye independently, and a separate adjustment knob to match the screen separation to that of your eyes. To make the experience as smooth and as enjoyable as possible, we do recommend our customers to take off their glasses or use contact lenses. If you are not sure about this please contact VR Escapism team and they will be happy to help you.

VR Escapism is doing our best to provide experiences that are associated with lower probability of motion sickness. We test all the games ourselves before offering them at VR Escapism. We also setup and test all our equipment so it works without causing any motion sickness. However, as with any motion-related entertainment, some people may be susceptible to unexpected side-effects during the VR session. If you feel unwell during game, please let a member of VR Escapism know and we will be there to help you.

Your safety is our top priority! Our staffs oversee the players over the monitor and the VR headset has a mic to connect to the system at the front desk. Also, you may stop the game anytime by saying “I would like to stop the game” and one of our staff will come and assist you to take the headset off.

Comfortable casual or sport clothing are highly recommended. We recommend to avoid high heels, short skirts or anything that is inconvenience to move/action.

You are welcome to bring in food and drink if you have reserved a party area at any of our location.

We do have a fridge available at all our locations for cake storage. However, we recommend avoiding ice cream cakes, as we do not have a freezer to keep them properly stored.

At VR Escapism, we welcome guests to ask our staff to capture photos and videos of their VR gaming sessions. We understand the excitement of experiencing virtual reality and encourage guests to capture memories during their visit. Our staff is happy to assist in ensuring you have keepsakes from your immersive adventure. Please feel free to inquire with our team about photography options during your session.

If VR equipment is damaged during your session at VR Escapism, please inform our staff immediately. We have procedures in place to address accidental damage. Depending on the extent of the damage, there may be a repair or replacement fee. Our goal is to ensure all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience, and we appreciate your cooperation in handling any issues promptly.
